Glass Half Empty / Full
Optimistic people, it is said, perceive a glass containing 50% of its potential content as 'half full', whereas pessimistic people consider it 'half empty'. I decided to realise this idea by creating a glass for optimists, which is permanently half-full with clear caster resin, and one for pessimists, permanently half-empty with a chamber of air. The glasses prompt people to recognise whether they are optimistic or pessimistic before taking a sip.
